Michael Phillips studied at Canterbury School of Architecture with a BA Hons (distinction) in Architecture and a Diploma in Architecture, qualifying in 1981. During his experience he spent 12 years living in Bermuda, working on projects, particularly hospitality, in the United States Eastern Seaboard and the Caribbean.
After returning to the UK he continued to develop his experience in this arena specialising in the boutique hotel market. He has designed, developed and constructed 14 of the Hotels du Vin group of nationwide boutique hotels.
Amanda Morgan studied at Brighton School of Architecture and Interior Design with BA (Hons) in Architecture and a Diploma in Architecture in 1992. She compliments the design team with experience of residential design and interior design. She has also worked abroad in Europe and the Far East. She co-founded MP2 Design Architects in 2010.
